A very elegant and functional Mappin & Webb's - Vintage Silver Plate Coffee Pot, Tea Pot, Milk Jug & Sugar Bowl. We believe this set was manufactured sometime in the 1920s to 1930s. We determine this by the script of the manufacturers name on the base of each item. All pieces have the capital letter B stamped on the base and each has a capacity stamp. The coffee pot has a 2 pint capacity and stands 7.5 tall including the finial. Its length including handle and spout is 7.

The teapot pot has a 1.5 pint capacity and stands 5.5 tall including the finial. Its length including handle and spout is 8.

The milk jug has a 8 ozs capacity and stands 3.5 tall. Its length including handle and spout is 4. The sugar bowl has a 6.5 ozs capacity and stands 2.5 tall. Its length including handles is 4.75. We have given the set a light polish and it has not disappointed in creating a good shine. The name Mappin & Webb is a quality maker and these rather delightful pieces are robustly made. Even after the passage of time the lids fit well and the handles provide a good grip to the user. There is sign of use and this is seen on the bases of the items. The coffee pot has a small dent on its base which if anything gives it character of age.
