A complete 5-piece heavily silverplated coffee and tea service, with mahogany. Handles, created by the famous French silversmith house Ercuis in 1933, which became one of their most popular models during the Art Deco period.

The craftmanship and design are elegant with great attention to details such as the inverted triangles around the knobs and pedestal bases. A sugar bowl with detached lid, measuring 4 inches high and 4 1/8 inches in diameter. A cream/milk jug, 3 ¼ inches high and 2 ¾ inches in diameter. A coffee pot with hinged lid, 6 ¾ inches tall and 4 3/8 inches in diameter and inches high. A tea pot also with a hinged lid, 5 5/8 inches high and 5 inches in diameter.

The diameter is the size of the opening at the top, without handles. The matching tray, which is rarely found in very good condition, measures 22 ¾ inches long from the outside edge of one handle to the outside edge of the other.

It is 13 ¾ inches wide and is also heavily silverplated, weighing 6.6 lbs by itself. In all, the set weighs 13 lbs or 6.1 kgs. The set is in very good condition, clean and shiny with minor traces of surface use on the pieces. The tray has a small scratch visible on photos and its bottom is clean with no desilvering. The handles are solidly attached as are the lids.

The interiors are clean and ready for use. Complete Ercuis art deco coffee and tea services on a matching tray are rarely found and look stunning on a period sideboard or table.
