For your consideration is an antique etched silver plated coffee or tea set by Wilcox Silver Co. Dating to the late Art Deco era, this is a difficult set to find as pristine as this one. An elaborate scroll and foliate design is embossed and decorates the surface of each piece, surrounding the top at their openings.
Expected light surface scratching is randomly seen as well as an occasional tiny and shallow ding on the coffee pot. These are concealed by the etched pattern and are not noticeable or distracting and are so small it's not possible for us to capture on a photographic image. Otherwise the set is in beautiful condition with no other damages or compromising imperfections. The silver plating is fully intact with no loss and it easily polishes to a clear and brilliant luster. The interiors are spotless, appearing as if the set has rarely been used..
Highly uncommon in a tea set of this vintage. Included in the set are an 11" coffee or tea pot, a 7" covered sugar bowl, and a 5.5 cream pitcher. Wear is commensurate for age and history of well cared for use, so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing.
