I think these pieces date from around the 1930's and have an Art Deco design. They have been used and the tray has some scratches and slight pitting but the overall quality and style associated with Mappin & Webb is evident. Please remember this set has had a working life and it is old. This item is vintage/antique and comes with a history, so will have wear commensurate with its age.
